OT 640 Debrief
Here is the link to my video containing the debrief assignment from OT 640. I had a wonderful experience on this rotation!
My name is Reagan Arnwine, and I am a student at UTHSC in the MOT program, class of 2020. This blog chronicles my journey as a student on the way to being an occupational therapist.
Reagan, I am fascinated by the setting that you were placed in. I think that it is a very cool opportunity to see occupational therapy in a non typical setting. I also think that it would be cool to see the psychological side that the horses contributed to the therapy session. Animals have such a way with people and I bet you were able to see that have a therapeutic impact on someone. I am also on board with being excited about finishing course work and seeing what the future holds!
ReplyDeleteReagan,
ReplyDeleteIt is so awesome that you had the opportunity to see a different side of occupational therapy than what may be considered typical for our field! That is such a wonderful reminder of how wide the scope of occupational therapy is, which gives us as future practitioners plenty of options for our careers, depending on our own personal strengths and interests. It sounds like you had an enlightening experience on your last LI fieldwork and I can't wait to hear more about it!
